A year ago that would have been pretty exciting! Mad Tom on tap! Literally where else in Newfoundland has that? That menu probably still keeps it as the best selection of craft beer in Newfoundland (since YB only sells YB beer).

Anyway, it was always a little weird that the best import beer bar in St. John's was the GSU pub. I always used to have three 1892 pint lunches there, which really would explain my marks in control systems design... Seriously, though, someone needs to open a little import and craft bar (YB, QV, Storm, Mad Tom taps) where we can drink any club offerings we've missed or run out of.

Chris, it's actually a bottle list. No Muskoka on tap in NL.

Heartbroken. That so looked like a tap list.

Still, what other bars even have bottles of Mad Tom? Let's see how far I can move the goal posts until Bitters still doesn't have the best selection.

Adelaide Oyster house has Unibroue on tap. That definitely takes the cake for me.

But yeah, as far as taps go, it's the only place in town with YB and QV, plus their decent bottle selection makes Bitters the best in town.

Check out the website or call first. They're closed today because of a pipe bursting.

Their live website is http://www.bitterspub.ca/

If you go to their old website http://bitters.gsumun.ca/ it still has the #DarkNL update of a burst pipe.

I'm guessing they are actually open.
The next beer you try might be the best beer you will ever have.

Ahhh Thanks Shorlin! I have lunch plans there today and the person making the reservation said that they had a pipe burst. I guess he got it from the old website.

Exciting! :) Especially if they bring in kegs of Spring Oddity *LOL* I must admit, when they had that event here a couple years ago, I lucked in to a whole pint of it for a single ticket.
