Beer expo beers are in (according to website). I have compiled a quick list of what is new, but I think a couple of things might be repeats from previous years.

Let's say you had to be selective. What's on your top 5 must-have list? Could you get it down to 5?

Beau's Buenos Dias Gruit 600ml Bottle
Collective Arts Prophets & Nomads Gose 473ml Can
Collective Arts Saint of Circumstance Blonde Ale
Garrison Chamomile IPA 650ml Bottle
Grand River Tailgate Lager 473ml Can
Hickson Session India Pale Ale 500ml Bottle
Innis & Gunn Maple & Thistle Rye Ale 500ml Bottle
Lancaster Bomber 500ml Can
Le Trou du Diable Aldred 600ml Bottle
Le Trou du Diable Bella Ciao 600ml Bottle
Lindeman's Lambic-Framboise 750ml Bottle
Moosehead Anniversary Ale 473ml Can
Naughty Hildegard ESB 650ml Bottle
Purity Mad Goose 500ml Bottle
Rogues Roost IPA 473ml Can
Sawdust City Golden Beach Session IPA 473ml Can
Sawdust City There's No Way of Knowing Saison 473ml Can
St.Ambroise Mixed IPA 12 Pack Bottles
St.Ambroise Raspberry Ale 473ml Can
Trailer Park Boys Freedom 35 473ml Can
Unibroue Collection 12 Pack
White Bark Witbier 650ml Bottle

I'd have to do the CA Gose, both Trou du Diables, Naughty Hildegard, and maybe the Sawdust City Saison. Luckily I already have the Unibroue 12 pack.

I thought about getting five I&G Maple and Thistle beers at $10 a bottle, but maybe I've changed my mind.

Any thoughts?
The next beer you try might be the best beer you will ever have.

Beau's Buenos Dias Gruit 600ml Bottle
Had it - 6.5/10. Really can't see bothering with many (any) more gruits.

Collective Arts Prophets & Nomads Gose 473ml Can
Yep, I'll have that!

Collective Arts Saint of Circumstance Blonde Ale
Had it - 7/10. One of their less interesting offerings.

Garrison Chamomile IPA 650ml Bottle
Yep!

Grand River Tailgate Lager 473ml Can
Had it - 4/10. Bland lager spiced with burnt rubber. Hard pass.

Hickson Session India Pale Ale 500ml Bottle
Never heard of it, so definitely would try.

Innis & Gunn Maple & Thistle Rye Ale 500ml Bottle
Not just no, but hell no.

Lancaster Bomber 500ml Can
Had it - 6/10. Not bad for a typical English Bitter.

Le Trou du Diable Aldred 600ml Bottle
Had it - 8/10. Would definitely do again.

Le Trou du Diable Bella Ciao 600ml Bottle
Would definitely try!

Lindeman's Lambic-Framboise 750ml Bottle
Had it - 8/10. Definitely worth trying if you like fruit and funk.

Moosehead Anniversary Ale 473ml Can
Hahahahahahaha! Wait, you're serious?

Naughty Hildegard ESB 650ml Bottle
Had it - 8/10. Would spank that nun any time.

Purity Mad Goose 500ml Bottle
Would try.

Rogues Roost IPA 473ml Can
Had it - 6.5/10. Decently bitter English IPA marred by light cheese/butyric.

Sawdust City Golden Beach Session IPA 473ml Can
Sawdust City There's No Way of Knowing Saison 473ml Can
I really liked their Lone Pine IPA, even if their Coriolis Effect Saison was a bit meh-tastic. Would try.

St.Ambroise Mixed IPA 12 Pack Bottles
St.Ambroise Raspberry Ale 473ml Can
Had pretty much all of 'em, middling to solid. Try 'em if you haven't.

Trailer Park Boys Freedom 35 473ml Can
Would try strictly for shits and giggles. Can't imagine it's any damn good.

Unibroue Collection 12 Pack
Had 'em all, go for it.

White Bark Witbier 650ml Bottle
Had it - 6/10. Not one of Driftwood's better efforts.

I think that's exactly five I would try that I haven't already, so there you go. Oh, wait, six including the TPB lager. If you're enforcing limits, that's the one I'd drop. :)

Noticed that a couple of things were getting low at the NLC.

The Collective Arts Prophets and Nomads Gose is in extremely short supply compared to everything else - less than 50 cans left in province, compared to their Saint of Circumstance blonde that has over 1000 cans in province.

The St. Ambroise IPA 12 pack is also down to a few per store in most stores.

And if you want a Moosehead Anniversay Ale, get one fast. There are only 3972 cans in the province. Supplies are limited!
The next beer you try might be the best beer you will ever have.

Half the stuff listed online as in stock at Howley Estates is nowhere to be seen. Going to try my luck at Blackmarsh this afternoon.
What's Brewing?

Fermenting: Amarillo by Morning Pale Ale, Krampusnacht Imperial Stout
Bottle Conditioning: Stille Nacht Belgian Dark Strong Ale
Ready to Drink: Belgian Patersbier, Citra Pale Ale, Bright Side of Life IPA

I had to push the issue a bit at Topsail Road location, on two different occasions. "It does say you have 24 in inventory, so can you please check out back? It'll be a flat of tallboy cans, kind of looks like these..." - wiggles can of Saint of Circumstance - "Yes I've checked in the cooler, in the cold room, along the back wall, along the side wall, up front, in the stand-up display, in the cases stacked in the middle of the aisle. It's probably out back. Yes there's a lot of new beers. Yes it's hard to keep up, yes."

In case nobody reads the "Post your trades" forum section, I am moving away and looking to "move" my cellar beers by monday. Some good ones in the collection, a few that have never been available in the province. Have a look at the post and PM me :P

Yeah, I'm pretty disappointed I couldn't get my hands on even one can of the Gose. There are 10 cans listed at Carbonear, but that's a gonna be a hard no to driving out there just to take a chance (and honestly...if I'm not willing to drive to Long Pond for beer, probably not going to drive to Carbonear either).

This was on the floor at Kelsey Drive around 1 o'clock.
